The pedestrian race known as the “Errorist Marathon” is the first and last race of its kind.

Everything is wrong! Whistleblowers are rewarded; fares are rising; speed limits are being lifted; violence is on the rise; crack has become a police issue; time is slipping away, and all we can do is play catch-up. When everything is wrong… maybe it’s time to mess things up a little more. Errorist action now! To slow down São Paulo: the last one to arrive wins!

Founded in 1997 in Buenos Aires, Etcétera currently consists of Loreto Garín Guzmán (Chile) and Federico Zukerfeld (Argentina), and has, from the outset, operated at the intersection of activism, poetry, and theater. Among its actions are satirical performances denouncing perpetrators of genocide during the Argentine military dictatorship (1976–1983) and artistic interventions linked to social movements during the 2001 crisis. Together with a network of artivists, in 2005 they founded the International Errorist Movement, which, with a critical sense of humor tinged with surrealism, celebrates error as a fundamental experience of deviation from the speculative and rationalist forms of contemporary capitalismo.
